I feel incredibly lucky to have found a "home away from home" at your guest house. Check-in was a breeze and very accommodating to my schedule. The guest house is equipped with everything imaginable for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the entrance with its sitting bench, the large closet with comfortable robes, and the kitchen which has everything needed for any meal—including four different coffee appliances and a grinder. When I hosted a small dinner party for my family, Carol was so thoughtful to offer a table leaf, a tablecloth, and extra chairs. The adjustable bed is top-notch, and the large bathroom is fully equipped with all the essentials. For a longer stay, having an ironing board, vacuum, and cleaning supplies available was very convenient. The amenities are wonderful, from the climate control to the unique Wizard of Oz-themed game room with its pool table and dartboard. Having parking available right at the door was also a great plus. Carol and Steve, you are the most thoughtful and responsive hosts, and it is clear how much care you have put into making this home special. I look forward to booking again in the future.

Already Planning Return Stay— What a comfy, roomy and tranquil place! I just had a wonderful 8 day stay and am already planning my return for several weeks more. Carol and family are thoughtful hosts who provide an immaculate space, with so many extras; I could feel how much they care about their guests’ comfort. Even before my trip began, Carol reached out to me to make sure her place would meet my accessibility needs. She even made upgrades before I arrived, without being asked, to make sure I was better accommodated. It was such a relief to know the people behind the screen had my wellbeing in mind— it makes a positive difference! It’s all of the little things that add up to a wonderful time away. I look forward to many trips there now that I have found my comfy place to be!

She was a lovely host. We had a bit of a late check in but ensured we would be able to get in with no issues. She recommended local areas and fun adventures that we loved. She also recommended a few local resturants as well. The place was a gem and loved that she provided lots of amenities for us to use. I WIFI and the provided work space was a life saver. I would 100% be booking my stay here again if I come back to portland.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carol's Place. The neighborhood felt very safe and everything was exactly as listed in her listing. She's very friendly and accommodating, and anticipates what one would need. We really love the walk-in shower, the large bathroom, and the comfy furnishings. The kitchen was fully stocked and has everything you need you to cook your food! The home is very clean and peaceful. We will definitely go there again!

I absolutely loved everything. the host Carol met me at checkin and gave me a personalized tour of the property making me feel right at home in all aspects. Fresh organic tomatoes in the garden. Most comfortable bed that has special features. I will always try to book in this spot. Too much greatness to say about this place , I'm so grateful.

A really nice a place to stay, not hard to find, and everything was spotlessly clean. Carol met us at check-in and gave a quick tour making sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. If we ever need a place to stay again while visiting family this will be our first choice.

Looked just like the listing photos; comfortable, cozy, and very clean. They gave a map of the neighborhood for a walking path. They also had a list of local restaurants which was thoughtful. Carol was very responsive with any questions. It was very quiet at night. A lovely peaceful retreat!

My wife thought of it as a princess palace. The apartment was very clean and quite enjoyable. We couldn’t of thought of anything else that Carol could’ve done to make it any better than it was. It was just absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Thank you, Carol, for having us. The kitchen was well supplied, and the layout of the place was just great. If she will have us will be back again again thank you.

The bed is very comfortable and adjustable, big plus.
